Activating your WNCC Account

Multi-Factor Authentication
As part of the ongoing need to improve our cyber security, WNCC will begin implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). MFA will be required when accessing WNCC resources from off-campus locations. You will not be required to use MFA when on campus.
To support this requirement, WNCC will be using Microsoft’s Authentication tools. These tools provide multiple options for MFA as well as password recovery. You can use a text message, phone message, or Authenticator app.
To prepare for MFA please update or verify your phone number that is registered for password recovery by browsing to https://go.wncc.edu/myaccount and selecting the security info tile to add or change your phone number and alternate email.
While it is not required, we recommend that you add the authenticator option. On the security info page, you can click the Add sign-in option and select the authenticator app.
